Sharing Permissions

Content Sharing modules provide a secured way to share content from supported core modules.  In otder for a Content Sharing module to view the shared content, it will need to first be granted access via  the Sharing Permissions admin screen.

The Sharing Permissions screen provides users with Host or SuperUsers account access to configure sharing permission for the core modules.  It allows the administrator to configure which modules to be visble/shared to which other portals.Â

The image below shows  overall navigation of the Sharing Permissions screen.

Functionalities available within this screen include:
  • Configure Sharing Permission for modules sharing the content

Configure Sharing Permission for modules sharing the content
  • Select an item from the From Portal field.  The From Portal field lists all available Portals in the system.  This field is used to indicate the modules available in this portal are to be shared to the selected Assign To Portal field
  • Select an item from the Assign To Portal field.  The Assign To Portal field lists all available Portals in the system.Â
  • Once both the From Portal and Assign To Portal fields have been selected, the list of available modules available for sharing are populate in the list below.
  • Individually go though the module required to be shared and click on Enable link button to allow content sharing access (if not already enabled) or click on the Disable link button to disable content sharing access (if not already disabled)
TIP:  Additional notes
  • It is possible to search or filter on a specific module by providing a value in the Module Name Filter field then click on the Refresh link button
  • It is possible to Sort on the list of available modules by clicking on the required link button of the column header.  Search direction is indicated by the image next to the column name
