Sharing Options

The Sharing Option screen provides users with Edit Access to the module the ability to map shared module to the current module instance.  A shared module can only be mapped to the current module instance if it has been granted access via the Sharing Security screen.

The image below shows an overall navigation layout for the Sharing Options screen.

How to map shared module to the current module instance
  • Select an item from the From Portal field.  This field contains a list of Portals which have modules that have granted shared access.
  • Select an item from the Module Name field.  This field contains a list of Module Names (with name of the Page module resides in).
  • Select an optional item from the Language field.  This is the language to use for dyanmic content localization.  It is possible to select different shared module for different language.  Note:  when the user preferred language does not exist in the list of sharing option, the default language is used if exists.
